This cocoa comes from the wild harvest of the rare Beniano cocoa in the province of Beni. Without crossbreeding or external influences, this cacao variety has been growing in the middle of the rainforest for centuries. The aromas are multi-layered: a fine floral note combines with earthy-chocolaty accents and results in a particularly harmonious taste experience. Gentle grinding and conching give the cocoa mass its fine consistency and unfold its full character. This makes them ideal both for direct enjoyment and for the preparation of ceremonial cocoa, baked goods or savory sauces.

Our cocoa mass is harvested by hand without the use of machines or chemical aids. The indigenous farming community considers cocoa to be a common good and makes decisions about its use collectively. This sustainable wild collection preserves the rainforest and protects the precious resources of the Amazon.

Application & Dosage

For an authentic cacao ceremony or an invigorating drink:

1. Heat 250 ml of plant milk or water to a maximum of 42°C.
2. Dissolve 30 g of cocoa mass in it while stirring.
3. Refine with coconut blossom sugar and spices such as cinnamon or chili if desired.
