Caboclo Rapé – Curador – Vale do Capão
A multi-layered composition of mapacho and selected plant ashes, carefully produced in Vale do Capão. This rapé is traditionally used in ceremonies to clear the space, deepen perception and strengthen inner alignment. The mixture has a clear, yet soft presence and is particularly suitable for meditative states and conscious rituals.
The plant composition – in balance
This special blend combines several plant forces that complement each other in a subtle way:
- Tsunu – The ashes of this tree are synonymous with purification and grounding in many traditions. It brings clarity and stability to the mind and helps to arrive in the moment.
- Murici – A plant that is often associated with lightness and emotional opening. It brings a gentle, harmonizing quality to the mixture and supports a balanced perception.
- Jurema – In many cultures, it is symbolically associated with inner depth and the connection to the spiritual world. In this mixture, she works subtly and more on the level of intuition and inner imagery.
- Chakruna – Traditionally associated with the heart and perception. In this composition, it symbolises openness, sensitivity and a finer sense.
Caboclo tradition
The term caboclo describes people of mixed origins – descendants of indigenous people and Europeans – who have developed an independent cultural identity in Brazil. Caboclos combine the knowledge of indigenous traditions with elements of rural Brazilian culture.
In this connection, his own ceremonies and practices emerged, in which rapé plays an important role. Caboclo rapés are considered a bridge between the worlds – they combine grounding and intuition and create an accessible, yet profound space of experience.
Vale do Capão – Chapada Diamantina
Vale do Capão is located in the heart of the Chapada Diamantina in Bahia, Brazil – a region known for its powerful nature, waterfalls and spiritual community.
For decades, this place has attracted people who are interested in plant knowledge, rituals and inner work. Rapé from this region carries the original, clear and nourishing energy of this landscape.
About the manufacturer
This rapé is made by Igor, a Brazilian from Vale do Capão. For about 20 years, he has dedicated himself to working with traditional plants and their applications.
Through encounters with various indigenous communities – especially the Huni Kuin – he deepened his knowledge of the production of rapé. With respect, experience and dedication, he still puts this knowledge into practice in his work today.
