About Origen Cacao

Since 2015, Origen Cacao has been producing bean-to-bar chocolate and ceremonial cocoa in Colombia. The aim is to enable indigenous communities to be paid fairly well above the market price, while preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Arhuaca tribe. Every cup of this cocoa is an expression of mindfulness, sustainability and a deep connection to nature.

Application

For a traditional preparation, heat 25-30 g cocoa in approx. 100 ml of water and mix well. Refine with a little honey or spices if desired. Ideal for ceremonies, meditation or as a nourishing pleasure in everyday life.

Hint

The cocoa is in granulated form (small pieces), not as a block or powder. This makes it particularly easy to dissolve. Since it is a natural product with no added sugar, the taste can be slightly bitter.
