Ceremonial Cacao – Authentic raw cocoa from Bali, Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru
Bali
In Bali, first-class raw cacao is obtained, which is made from high-quality Forastero cocoa beans. The cocoa fruits come from sustainable mixed cultivation, operated by local small farmers who do not use chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Instead, they use natural solutions such as coconut or banana leaves, which are prepared with sugar or honey to protect the plants from pests. This innovative method promotes environmentally friendly production and ensures first-class quality.
Bolivia
The rainforests of the province of Beni are home to the rare Beniano cocoa, a variety of cocoa that has thrived unchanged in the wild for centuries. This special cocoa is collected sustainably by harvesting the fruit by hand. The “Chocolate Baure” initiative not only protects the unique cocoa plant, but also the habitats of the indigenous communities that traditionally manage the rainforest. The result is a particularly aromatic cocoa that reflects the harmony between man and nature.
Ecuador
Ecuador is considered the cradle of cocoa and is known for the noble variety “Arriba Nacional”. In regions such as Los Ríos, Esmeraldas and Manabí, this cocoa is grown in mixed cultures. Small farmers ferment and dry the beans gently to preserve the characteristic aroma. Through many years of experience and modern training programs, sustainable cultivation methods are promoted, while social projects strengthen the local community. The products are characterized by the highest quality and an unmistakable taste.
Peru
In Peru, especially in the regions of the Amazon and the Andes, cocoa is grown using traditional methods. Smallholder farmers rely on mixed cropping and agroforestry systems to protect the soil and promote biodiversity. Sustainability and social responsibility are the focus here, supported by training and product traceability programs. This ensures that the cocoa is not only of high quality, but also fair trade.
Sustainable, high-quality and authentic
This ceremonial cocoa combines artisanal tradition with sustainable production and social commitment. Whether for rituals, creative applications or pure enjoyment – each cocoa comes from a unique origin that stands for quality, responsibility and taste.
