Mapacho pipe – Hand-carved with Shipibo symbolism & Mapacho flower
Noble ritual pipe made of dark hardwood, decorated with finely engraved Shipibo patterns (Kené) and a mapacho blossom. Developed for conscious tobacco rituals with mapacho (Nicotiana rustica) or classic pipe tobacco – pleasant in the hand, clean in the puff.
Details & Meaning
The geometric Shipibo motifs (Kené) traditionally stand for harmony, protection and connection. The engraved flower refers to mapacho, which is used as a ritual plant in many Amazonian traditions. This piece combines craftsmanship, symbolism and functionality for mindful rituals or as a special collector’s item.
Application
- Fill tobacco/mapacho loosely; do not tamp too tightly so that the draw remains free.
- Brown evenly and leave to rest a little between batches.
- For consistent performance, allow the pipe to cool down completely after use.
Care & cleaning
- After cooling, knock out the ash; clean the air duct with pipe cleaners.
- Do not water the wood; if necessary, treat the outside sparingly with a neutral wood oil.
- Protect from direct sunlight, moisture and strong temperature fluctuations.
Good to know
