Kuntanawa Rapé – Samauma
Sacred plant mixture for the energetic connection of earth and heaven
The Samauma, also known as the mother of all trees or ladder to heaven, is considered the most sacred tree creature in many indigenous traditions of Amazonia. This powerful Rapé blend was made in collaboration with the Kuntanawa people – an indigenous people from Acre, Brazil – and carries the essence of this majestic tree medicine.
🌿 Origin & Spiritual Significance
The samauma (Ceiba pentandra), also known as the kapok tree , is the largest tree in the rainforest. In the spiritual view of many Amazonian tribes, it is considered the protector of the forests and the abode of sacred beings. In the tradition of the Kuntanawa, the Samauma connects the earth with the sky – a symbol of ascension, protection and spiritual clarity.
This rapé blend contains ash from the bark of the Samauma as well as carefully selected mapacho or other high-quality tobacco leaves, such as those traditionally used in the sacred snuffs of the Kuntanawa. It is ritually made and used in ceremonies to strengthen the connection to the spiritual.
✨ Energetic effect in the ritual context
In ritual use, Kuntanawa Samauma Rapé is considered to support the opening of the crown chakra, which stands for the connection with the cosmos and the higher self. In addition, it is also said to energetically address the navel chakra, which is associated with inner power, self-esteem and relationship issues.
The mixture is particularly suitable for:
-
energetic cleansing before meditation or prayer
-
shamanic rituals to invoke guardian spirits
-
spiritual practices for grounding and connecting with higher levels
🌱 Herbal knowledge & traditional application
In Amazonian herbal medicine, Samauma is also valued for its revitalizing and draining properties . Local applications include use to promote female fertility and support during childbirth – always accompanied by prayer, song and respect for the plant.
