Medicine Magic – Ceremonial Cocoa – 8 Mushrooms Blend

This special cocoa combines high-quality Criollo cocoa from Colombia with aromatic spices and a selection of eight mushroom extracts. The result is a complex and aromatic blend that is suitable for preparing drinking cocoa as well as for special moments of indulgence.

Traditional use

Cocoa has been prepared as a drink on special occasions in Central and South America for centuries. Mushrooms such as reishi, chaga and shiitake also have a long tradition in cooking and rituals in various cultures. This blend combines both worlds in an enjoyable way.

The 8 selected mushrooms

• Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus) – traditionally used in Asia
• Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) – valued in East Asian herbalism
• Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) – known from northern regions
• Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor) – traditionally used in many ways
• Cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris) – a long-standing component in Far Eastern cultures
• Agaricus (Agaricus blazei) – used in South American traditions
• Maitake (Grifola frondosa) – a culinary favorite in Japan
• Shiitake (Lentinula edodes) – part of Asian cuisine for centuries

Preparation

1. Roughly chop one portion (approx. 50 g).
2. Heat with 150-200 ml water or plant milk (do not boil).
3. Mix well until a creamy consistency is achieved.
4. Refine with spices or sweetness as desired.

Ingredients

Cocoa mass (Theobroma cacao), cocoa butter, spice mixture (cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, chili), mushroom extracts: Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Chaga, Turkey Tail, Cordyceps, Agaricus, Maitake, Shiitake (1-5% each).

• Store in a cool, dry and dark place
