Visão de Pajé – Rapé of the shaman’s vein

Visão de Pajé – in German “Vision of Pajé” – is a powerful rapé prepared with the
medicinal plant Veia de Pajé. This narrow liana with heart-shaped leaves
is called the “shaman’s vein” by the indigenous Araras Shawãdawa and is also
known as Cipó Jibóia – “anaconda liana”. It is considered the plant
of the anaconda, a symbol of spiritual transformation and protection.

The mixture consists of three carefully selected ingredients:

• Veia de Pajé – ash of the shaman’s vein liana (Epipremnum pinnatum),
  rich in alkaloids such as voacangin, traditionally prized for its purifying,
  energizing and invigorating effects
• Mapacho (Nicotiana rustica) – the heart of traditional rapé blends,
  known for its grounding, focusing effect
• Tsunu ash – extracted from the bark of the Tsunu tree
  (Platycyamus regnellii), a classic ingredient in Brazilian rapés

In the Amazon traditions, Veia de Pajé is highly valued as a spiritual and healing remedy
. Ceremonial practitioners report a clearing, energizing
effect that promotes inner concentration and focus, cleanses the energy field and protects it from
negative influences. Traditionally, the liana is also used for incense
