What does “Nisu Rau” mean?
The term “Nisu Rau” is not a clearly botanically defined plant name. In ethnobotanical studies on Rapé varieties, “Nisu Rau” is mentioned as the name for a certain Rapé variant, without a clearly identifiable individual botanical plant being assigned.
In the traditional context, the name stands for a specific blend quality with its own energetic signature. Similar to other rapé varieties (e.g. Tsunu, Murici or Caneleiro), the exact composition may vary slightly depending on the origin and manufacturer.
